I have discovered my passion for teaching since high school. At first, I thought it was just a matter of helping my fellow classmates with their homework and making teachers wonder how some of the presumed 'underachievers' became straight-A students all of a sudden. However, very soon I learned that the reason was not as simple. What I really enjoyed the most was teaching new things, simplifying complex material and helping my students achieve their goals. Foreign clinical and research experiences allowed me to learn more about various cultures, beliefs and traditions. I firmly believe that this international experience along with the knowledge of four languages (Russian, English, French and German) will greatly benefit in creating a productive and caring environment with students of different origins during our lessons. Being able to positively impact someone's life through teaching is a genuinely unique feeling and I look forward to being able to experience it with my new students.

I have seen many talented people in my life, but unfortunately not all of them could reach the goal they were going for. One of the reasons is being unable to find a proper path to get the "gold". And it really makes me upset. I have been always told "It is easy to criticize but hard to give someone a hand in a right way". So, as I love anything hard to deal with, I decided to give all my experience, energy, enthusiasm to whoever I work with in order to help one to achieve a purpose in a less time- and effort- consuming way and keep the proper path to it.

Medicine is a noble profession, centered on team-work, where we continuously learn. And to learn more effectively, it's really important to ensure having mentors you can rely on, to be stronger in the future. I like explaining, and it brings me much more joy engaging in enthusiastic discussion with other doctors. I believe I have quite a lot to share and I'm always happy to help!
The course consists of 9 modules and 100 lectures.
Hi there! I have studied with Synapse Step 1, and I would like to share my impressions. I think that it was one of the best decisions of the last year and the best investment in my education. As physicians, we need to keep our knowledge up to date as medicine does not stand still and the Synapse courses provide the latest medical information from all over the world. Studying Step 1, I finally understood something that seemed so impossible when I was at university, but the Synapse teachers explain complicated things in plain language, with humor and everything becomes so simple and clear! After the course I can easily, in simple terms, explain primary and secondary hemostasis, tell how ion channels function, decode spirometry, distinguish acidosis from alkalosis and what causes it and what a blood gas analysis would look like in compensation, can draw conductive pathways, and tell what each is responsible for and what happens when there is damage at a certain level, and much more. Learning and understanding are two completely different processes, at university I learnt/crammed and kept information until the exams like many other students, but in the Step 1 course the understanding comes, and that is the most valuable thing! Also, the Synapse team is not just the teachers and organizers, but WE ALL are the team! Synapse is a community of smart, motivated, talented people, we look at each other and move forward, we are motivated together, full of energy and don't let each other give up. Learning is not always difficult and boring, Synapse proved that you could learn with pleasure!Ps: I also took the Step 2 course, I find it very useful for students before the state exams, for interns/residents or practicing physicians (especially therapy specialties). In Step 2 there are more clinical skills that we love so much 😉
I took the Step 1 course, for myself, to fill the gaps in my knowledge. I liked the content of the lectures, only the most relevant and important information. Great lecturers, presentations, and explanations. If you miss something, you can watch the recording later👍🏻 Very convenient. Thanks to the Synapse team ❤️
Hi everybody! I want to share good news and thank the teachers and organizers of Synapse!!! I passed the exam for doctors in Sweden 🥳🎉🥳🎉A year ago, I accidentally stumbled upon a page on Instagram and decided to start my training with Synapse. Even though I wasn't going to take the USMLE, I was about to take the Swedish exam which consists of two steps at the same time. That's why I decided to take the Step 1 and Step 2 courses at the same time. But despite the amount of material and tiredness I could feel the result, so I decided to take the exam. When I got the result, I was incredibly happy. I wish everybody could experience this feeling!!! Thank you very much to the teachers and organizers for their tremendous help! A year ago, I couldn't even dream about the results I would achieve and the knowledge I would gain! Thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I would like to say a few words about Open Medical University SYNAPSE, where I took the USMLE Step 1 online course. This is one of the best courses I have ever joined. Everything is very clear, competent, and disciplined. Information is presented lucidly, if something is not clear, various different methods of presenting the information are used. The course lasted for 9 months, in order to cover all the basic subjects. Overall, it is a platform where you can meet like-minded people, where you have 24/7 support, where mentors and teachers are always available and willing to share various secrets to learn the material and lend a helping hand outside the classroom. Thank you Synapse! ❤️
I am going to take the exam. I just need to revise everything again and complete practice questions. As for your courses, I can give only positive feedback – this is fire 😊. Easy flow of given material with focus on what you need to pass the exam. So, I didn't regret taking the course. Everything is very helpful. Thank you! 😊
I find your courses better than Kaplan USMLE courses (I had recordings of their lectures). And, if after Kaplan courses I didn't make much progress in taking tests, after your lectures I made huge progress in it, and I managed to solve them really quickly. Actually, there are a lot of words of admiration to say.
Dozens of students who have completed our training have already shown impressive results. We are sure you can do the same!
